Police said five people – including a baby – were injured in a car accident on the Tai Po section of the Tolo Highway on Sunday afternoon.
Officers said the person who called the force said the baby was thrown out of the northbound vehicle, when the driver apparently lost control and it crashed into a road divider near the GDV Classical Gardens.
Paramedics saw the eight-month-old on the roadside planters when they arrived – he suffered injuries to his head and arm but was conscious when taken to hospital.
A man and three women were also injured, with one of the women also suffering from head and arm injuries.
