Deputy Chief Secretary Warner Cheuk said on Saturday that he hoped the activities organised by the government ahead of the District Council elections would motivate people to vote.

He was speaking after visiting an exhibition of vintage and electric buses at a Kowloon Motor Bus depot in Lai Chi Kok.

The exhibition is one of the activities on the "District Council Election Fun Day", which aims to raise public awareness and encourage people to vote.

"We hope that the District Council Election Fun Day will bring the public a happy Saturday. After enjoying a happy Saturday, let's come out to vote in the District Council polls tomorrow," he said.
