Hong Kong stocks closed in the red on Monday following another batch of weak data out of China that added to worries about the world's number two economy.
The Hang Seng Index slipped 0.8 percent, or 132 points, to 16,201.
But the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.7 percent, or 21 points, to 2,991, and the Shenzhen Composite Index added 1 percent, or 17 points, to 1,865. (AFP)
