Hong Kong stocks opened with losses on Monday after a strong end to last week fuelled by the prospect of a series of interest rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve next year.
The Hang Seng Index fell 0.7 percent to 16,669.
The Shanghai Composite Index eased 0.2 percent to 2,936, and the Shenzhen Composite Index dipped 0.3 percent to 1,822. (AFP)
