China's first home-grown large cruise ship completed its first trial voyage, returning to Shanghai on Monday.
The Adora Magic City will sail on another trial voyage carrying passengers, with some 1,300 crew members from over thirty countries, before its official inaugural voyage slated for the first of January.
Passengers on the trial voyage marveled at the beauty and size of the vessel, while praising the activities and quality of both Chinese and Western cuisine aboard the ship.
The 135,500-gross-tonnage jumbo ship can accommodate a maximum of 5,246 passengers in its 2,125 guest rooms, with its living and entertainment area spread over a massive 40,000 square meters.
Since 2019, China has become the world's second-largest cruise market.
