HK market opens higher, lifted by US markets

Hong Kong stocks were slightly higher in the opening minutes on Thursday following a positive performance on Wall Street ahead of crucial US inflation data later in the day.

The Hang Seng Index added 0.4 percent to 16,154.

The Shanghai Composite Index dipped 0.1 percent to 2,873, and the Shenzhen Composite Index rose 0.1 percent to 1,731. (AFP)
