The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) on Friday confirmed that its vice president, Simon Wong, has tendered his resignation and will leave his position in June this year.
Wong – who took up the role in May 2022 – is responsible for PolyU’s campus development in both Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
The university said it will conduct an open recruitment for the position in the near future.
Earlier in the week, the president and vice-chancellor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Rocky Tuan, also announced he will step down from his position in January next year.
