Police on Sunday said a man and a woman have died after falling into the sea off Shek O.

Both of them were unconscious when they were rushed to Eastern Hospital.

Another man, who also fell into the sea, was found conscious on the shore. He was also hospitalised.

Officers said the three people are siblings, and that the brothers were trying to save their sister.

The incident happened near Shek O Headland Road in the southern part of Hong Kong Island.
