Financial market professionals, regulators, policymakers and academics are expected to attend a financial symposium hosted by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) in February aimed at promoting exchanges between Asian and European regulators and officials.
The inaugural SFC Regional Securities Regulatory Leadership Symposium will be held in Hong Kong on February 28.
JP Morgan's CEO for Asia Pacific, Filippo Gori, and his counterpart at Goldman Sachs, Kevin Sneader, will share their insights on key developments in the global and regional macroeconomic environments, such as interest rate trajectory, inflation, geopolitics and post-pandemic recovery.
Market regulators from Belgium, Malaysia and Australia will focus on how regulatory frameworks can promote sustainable finance as well as the related challenges facing regulators.
Panellists will also examine how Fintech and artificial intelligence are transforming the wealth management industry.
The symposium is one of the events to celebrate the SFC’s 35th anniversary.
