Hong Kong stocks opened on the front foot on Tuesday following another record day on Wall Street, with traders also cheered by China's premier calling for measures to support the flagging mainland market.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.52 percent, or 77.15 points, to 15,038.33.
The Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.34 percent, or 9.45 points, to 2,746.89, and the Shenzhen Composite Index dipped 0.25 percent, or 4.02 points, to 1607.24. (AFP)
