Police are investigating a fatal accident at the container port terminal in Kwai Chung in the early hours of Friday morning in which a man died.

Police believe the man, 58, was knocked down by a heavy goods vehicle which was reversing at a dock loading area on Container Port Road.

The man was certified dead at the scene.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing death.
