Two executives of local broadcaster TVB were arrested on Friday on suspicion of accessing a computer with criminal or dishonest intent.

Police said earlier that they had received a report that some of the broadcaster's employees had accessed restricted documents on computers.

In a statement, TVB said another executive was found to be involved in related illegal activities.

The company said it had dismissed the three.

TVB said it would fully cooperate with the police in the investigation.
