A man has died after falling from height in Kowloon Bay, where a flat was on fire.

The Fire Services Department received a report at 8pm on Friday that a flat in Choi Foon House at Choi Fook Estate was on fire. Firefighters put out the blaze in about half an hour.

About 100 people were evacuated.

The man was certified dead at the scene.
