China and the United States are holding two days of economic talks in Beijing.
The China-US Economic Working Group convened on Monday and Tuesday to discuss the outlooks for the world's two-largest economies, investment screening regimes for national security in both countries, and opportunities to cooperate on climate change and debt relief to poor countries, US officials said.
The American delegation is led by Treasury Undersecretary for International Affairs Jay Shambaugh.
The meeting is the third since Vice Premier He Lifeng and US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen launched the group in September, alongside the parallel Financial Working Group. (Reporting by Reuters)
