Hong Kong shares rallied at the open on Wednesday, building on the previous day's surge on optimism China will push through more measures to support shattered markets and stimulate the economy.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.90 percent to 16,282.
The Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.07 percent, or 2.03 points, to 2,791, and the Shenzhen Composite Index added 0.08 percent, or 1.21 points to 1,508. (AFP)
