Hong Kong stocks ended lower on Wednesday on profit taking from a four percent spike the day before.

The Hang Seng Index fell 0.3 percent, or 54 points, to 16,081.

The Shanghai Composite Index jumped 1.4 percent, or 40 points, to 2,829, and the Shenzhen Composite Index added 1.5 percent, or 22 points to 1,528. (AFP)
