Police on Saturday arrested a 73-year-old man after he lost control of his car on Jockey Club Road in Sheung Shui, crashing into the kerb.

The man failed a breathalyser test and was detained on suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol.

The incident happened at about 9 pm.
