Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Friday called for a sound and steady relationship with the United States, as he met with the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
He called on Blinken to help make the 'San Francisco Vision' a reality, referring to a meeting in California at the end of last year between President Xi Jinping and President Biden. Wang said, there, the two heads of state had discussed the direction of Sino-US relations and reached important consensus.
Wang said the two sides should adhere to the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation while exploring how the two countries could get along with each other.
