Hong Kong shares closed higher on Wednesday, as traders awaited a highly anticipated tech earnings report and Fed policy meeting minutes later in the day.
The Hang Seng Index ended up 1.6 percent, or 255 points, to close at 16,503.
The Shanghai Composite Index rose 1 percent, or 28 points, to 2,950, and the Shenzhen Composite Index also added 1 percent, or 16 points, to 1,629. (AFP)
