Hong Kong stocks opened nearly unchanged on Thursday, after higher-than-expected earnings from tech giant Nvidia and as investors weighed Fed minutes signalling most US officials are in no rush to cut rates.
The Hang Seng Index started just slightly down at 0.1 percent at 16,489.
The Shanghai Composite Index was up 0.4 percent at 2,962, and the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange added 0.8 percent to 1,641. (AFP)
