Hong Kong shares finished higher on Friday after Wall Street gains and key US inflation data brought traders some relief by meeting expectations.
The Hang Seng Index was up 0.5 percent, or 78 points, to close at 16,589.
The Shanghai Composite Index added 0.4 percent, or 11 points, to 3,027, and the Shenzhen Composite Index rose 1.1 percent, or 18 points, to 1,725. (AFP)
