Police on Tuesday arrested 47 people, and seized HK$670,000 in cash, in a crackdown on street gambling on Tin Yiu Estate and Tin Ying Path in Tin Shui Wai.
The force said 29 men and 18 women, all locals and aged between 25 and 84, had been detained.
In addition to the cash, police also seized gambling equipment.
The suspects were arrested on suspicion of a range of offences linked to gambling outside a gambling establishment.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and other arrests can't be ruled out.
