Hong Kong stocks tumbled on Thursday as traders brushed off data showing a stronger-than-expected jump in Chinese exports, with eyes on the upcoming release of US jobs data.
The Hang Seng Index sank 1.3 percent, or 208 points, to 16,229.
The Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.4 percent, or 12 points, to 3,027, while the Shenzhen Composite Index lost 1.2 percent, or 20 points, to 1,701. (AFP)
