Hong Kong stocks opened slightly higher on Friday morning, tracking another strong day on Wall Street after Federal Reserve boss Jerome Powell said US interest rates were more than likely to be cut this year.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.3 percent to 16,275.
The Shanghai Composite Index was marginally lower, dipping just over a point to 3,026, while the Shenzhen Composite Index inched up 0.1 percent to 1,702. (AFP)
