Hong Kong shares ended slightly higher on Friday, lifted by record-breaking days in the United States and Europe this week as investors kept their fingers cross the Federal Reserve would cut interest rates this year.

The Hang Seng Index recovered from Thursday's losses to climb 123 points, closing at 16,353. (AFP)
