Traffic has been disrupted in the Cheung Tsing Tunnel with water gushing out of one of its walls, after a medium goods vehicle crashed and broke a section of the passage's inner pipes.

The incident, which happened shortly after 1 pm on Saturday, forced two Kowloon-bound lanes of the tunnel to be shut.

One lane remained closed as of 5 pm, according to the Transport Department.

The driver suffered minor injuries and was sent to hospital for treatment.
