The MTR Corporation on Monday said it will add extra cross-border high-speed rail train trips in the lead-up to and during the Easter holiday period.

The transit operator said it will run an additional 14 daily trips between West Kowloon and Shenzhen's Futian station on March 15, 17, 22 and 24.

An extra 22 daily trips will be provided on March 16, 23, 29, 30, 31 and April 1.

Tickets for the extra services went on sale on Monday.
