A woman has died after a fire at Wah Fu Estate in Aberdeen.

Police suspect her clothes caught fire while she was cooking in her flat in Wah Ming House.

Officers said the victim's neighbours heard cries for help and saw her engulfed in flames in the corridor around noon on Monday.

The neighbours helped put out the fire.

The woman, 63, was pronounced dead at the scene.
