Police said a man abandoned his car and fled the scene after hitting a pedestrian and multiple vehicles in Sham Shui Po on Thursday.

The suspect was reportedly asked to move his vehicle which was found illegally parked on Castle Peak Road at around 7:30pm.

He then drove away hitting two cars and a female pedestrian and continued driving until he hit another car at the intersection of Un Chau and Yen Chow streets.

The driver proceeded towards Kiu Kiang Street where he hit a taxi before he left the car and fled the scene.

The 50-year-old female pedestrian suffered a head injury and was unconscious.

She was sent to Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment.
