Police say they have arrested 140 people in Yuen Long in a vice crackdown lasting several weeks, dismantling three suspected vice syndicates.
Officers say they arrested 133 women and seven men in February and earlier this month, in an intelligence-led operation.
The suspects were arrested on suspicion of living on earnings of prostitution, managing a vice establishment, and breaching conditions of stay.
The force said it suspects the prostitution syndicates had been recruiting sex workers on messaging platforms and arranging sub-divided flats for them, while charging them commission and rent.
