Chief Executive John Lee on Saturday said authorities would establish dedicated care teams for ethnic minorities this year.
In a Facebook post, Lee said he visited a service centre for ethnic minorities in Wan Chai during the Easter holiday, with his wife.
Lee said he is committed to supporting the integration of ethnic minorities into society through education, employment, and social services.
He said the government would establish two more service centres for ethnic minorities in the city, bringing the total number to 10.
The CE added that each centre would form its own care team to proactively reach out to and serve ethnic minorities.
