Hong Kong shares finished with big losses on Wednesday on growing worries that recent strong US data will keep the Federal Reserve from cutting rates as much as hoped this year.
The Hang Seng Index dropped 1.2 percent, or 206 points, to 16,725.
The Shanghai Composite Index shed 0.2 percent, or 5 points, to 3,069, while the Shenzhen Composite Index dipped 0.7 percent, or 11 points, to 1,767. (AFP)
