Stocks rose in Hong Kong on Monday, tracking a rally across most of Asia and Wall Street following data showing the US jobs market remained strong.

The Hang Seng Index edged up 0.1 percent, or 8 points, to 16,723.

The Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.7 percent, or 22 points, to 3,047, while the Shenzhen Composite Index shed 1.8 percent, or 31 points, to 1,736. (AFP)
