Hong Kong shares fell on Monday in line with the rest of Asia after Iran's weekend attack on Israel fanned fresh fears of a major conflict in the Middle East.
The Hang Seng Index sank 0.7 percent, or 121 points, to 16,600.
The Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.3 percent, or 37 points, to end at 3,057, while the Shenzhen Composite Index slipped 0.3 percent, or 5 points, to 1,702. (AFP)
