Hong Kong and mainland stocks sank on Tuesday on worries about a regional conflict in the Middle East and after data showed China's economy grew more than expected but other figures raised questions about the outlook for the rest of the year.
The Hang Seng Index shed 2.1 percent, or 351 points, to 16,248.
The Shanghai Composite Index lost 1.7 percent, or 50 points, to end at 3,007, while the Shenzhen Composite Index dived 3.8 percent, or 64 points, to 1,638. (AFP)
