The Examinations and Assessment Authority on Tuesday said it will take serious action against anyone posting DSE exam paper online and report such matters to the police.

The exams authority was responding to a case in which this year's English listening exam paper was posted on the social media platform "Xiaohongshu".

A photo circulating online purportedly showed the paper was posted by an exam marker.

The exam was held last week.

The exams authority said all staff must keep its matters confidential. It reminded examination staff not to publish or re-post exam content in any form.
