Hong Kong stocks rose at the start of business on Friday following healthy earnings from tech titans Microsoft and Alphabet, while eyes turn to the release of key US inflation data later in the day.
The Hang Seng Index edged up 0.30 percent, or 51.66 points, to 17,336.20.
The Shanghai Composite Index added 0.07 percent, or 2.08 points, to 3,054.98, while the Shenzhen Composite Index eased 0.13 percent, or 2.24 points, to 1,696.09. (AFP)
