Hong Kong stocks rose at the opening of trading on Monday, extending advances into a sixth day, following a strong lead from Wall Street ahead of the Federal Reserve's latest policy decision this week.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.49 percent, or 86.78 points, to 17,737.93.
The Shanghai Composite Index dipped 0.06 percent, or 1.95 points, to 3,086.68, while the Shenzhen Composite Index edged up 0.13 percent, or 2.21 points, to 1,730.70. (AFP)
