Police on Tuesday said they have arrested and charged a man and were searching for another over a crane collapse that killed three workers at a construction site in 2022.
Officers announced the arrest of a 35-year-old former project manager with the main contractor involved in the building construction in Sau Mau Ping.
He has been charged with manslaughter and will appear in Kwun Tong Magistrates' Courts on Thursday.
Meanwhile, a warrant was issued for a 72-year-old structural engineer.
Aggressive Construction Company, the contractor for the site on Anderson Road, confirmed earlier that a former employee had been arrested.
The company added that it is being prosecuted over the crane collapse.
