Hong Kong stocks extended gains into a 10th successive day on Monday after US jobs data boosted interest rate cut hopes, while mainland markets rallied as they returned from a break to play catch-up with last week's global gains.
The Hang Seng Index climbed 0.6 percent, or 102 points, to 18,578.
The Shanghai Composite Index jumped 1.2 percent, or 35 points, to 3,140, while the Shenzhen Composite Index added 2.1 percent, or 36 points, to 1,792. (AFP)
