Hong Kong edged back up at the open Wednesday, the day after a small drop that broke a 10-day winning streak, while investors assess the outlook for US interest rates after last week's US jobs data.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.17 percent to 18,511.
The Shanghai Composite Index dipped 0.20 percent to 3,141, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on the mainland's second exchange fell 0.32 percent to 1,791. (AFP)
