Police on Friday said a 21-year-old worker fell from a height while dismantling an outdoor concert stage for the Taiwan rock band Mayday at the Central Promenade.

It is believed that the man slipped from a stage and fell about two metres. Officers received the report at around 5.30 am.

He was taken to Queen Mary Hospital in an unconscious state.

The force has classified the case as an industrial accident.
