Hong Kong shares ended in negative territory for the fourth straight day on Friday, in line with a global retreat spurred by fresh data that fuelled worries the Federal Reserve will delay cutting interest rates.
The Hang Seng Index sank 1.4 percent, or 259 points, to 18,608.
The Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.9 percent, or 27 points, to 3,088, while the Shenzhen Composite Index tumbled 1.1 percent, or 19 points, to 1,734. (AFP)
