Hong Kong stocks ended the week with another loss on Friday as data showing inflation slowing in the United States was offset by the Federal Reserve lowering its outlook for interest rate cuts this year.
The Hang Seng Index lost 0.94 percent, or 170 points, to finish at 17,941.
On the mainland, the Shanghai Composite Index added 0.12 percent to 3,032, while the Shenzhen Composite on China's second exchange slipped 0.37 percent, to finish six points lower. (AFP)
