Hong Kong stocks began the week on a quiet note on Monday, closing virtually unchanged as investors try to assess the Federal Reserve's plans for cutting interest rates.
The Hang Seng Index inched down 5 points, to 17,936.
The Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.6 percent, or 16 points, to 3,015, while the Shenzhen Composite Index edged up 0.1 percent, or 0.8 points, to 1,690. (AFP)
