Hong Kong shares closed flat on Monday, tracking a tepid lead from Wall Street at the end of last week, with traders looking ahead to the release of key US data this week.
The Hang Seng Index inched down 0.8 points to 18,027.
The Shanghai Composite Index shed 1.2 percent, or 35 points, to 2,963, while the Shenzhen Composite Index sank 2.3 percent, or 37 points, to 1,616. (AFP)
