A woman has been charged with murdering her husband in Tseung Kwan O on Saturday night, and she's due to appear in Kwun Tong Court on Tuesday morning.

The woman, 32, was arrested after she allegedly slashed her sleeping husband with a fruit knife in their flat at LOHAS Park.

The man, 30, suffered multiple wounds and was certified dead at hospital.

Officers earlier said they were probing the suspect's motives, noting that she had suffered from depression since giving birth around a year and a half ago.
