Hong Kong stocks ended lower on Wednesday.

The Hang Seng Index closed down 51 points, or 0.3 percent, at 17,471.

The Shanghai Composite Index ended 0.7 percent lower at 2,939, while the smaller Shenzhen index ended down 0.4 percent. (Reuters)
