Hong Kong stocks finished higher on Wednesday.

At the close of trade, the Hang Seng Index was up 11 points, or 0.1 percent, at 17,739.

The Shanghai Composite Index ended down 0.5 percent at 2,962, while the smaller Shenzhen index ended down 0.8 percent. (Reuters)
