Hong Kong shares ended higher on Thursday.

The Hang Seng Index edged up 0.2 percent to close at 17,778.

The Shanghai Composite Index ended up 0.5 percent at 2,977, while the Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.5 percent higher at 8,879. (Xinhua)
